JFK Valet Parking vs. Self-Parking
When people are
going to pick up a friend or relative at the airport, they often resort to a
trick which they think might help them save the steep parking fees inside the
airport. They wait with their vehicle on the airport approach road, and wait
for the person to call them once the baggage has been retrieved. After getting
the call they drive in to the ‘Arrivals’ section, pick up the person and leave.
But the glitch in this plan is that many airports have roaming security
vehicles which can tow away such parked cars.
To avoid this
hassle, it is much better to keep your car in the airport parking at JFK airport. If you are travelling yourself, even if it
is for a day only, you have no other option than to use the airport parking
facility. So far, so good. But what often hurts is that these parking
facilities inside big airports are atrociously priced, and even a day’s parking
can make a sizable dent in your pocket. The other option, then, is to use the
private parking facilities available outside such airports. They are much more
reasonably priced. Additionally, they also offer a good level of security. In
case you are worried about how far you will need to walk after parking your
car, there is help at hand there too. These parking facilities also offer free
transit shuttle services to take you from the parking to the airport terminal
and back.
But in case you do
not want to go through all that, you also have the option of paying a bit extra
to avail of valet parking services. These are the advantages of valet parking
vs. self-parking:
- Trained and experienced drivers
- The professional drivers will ensure there is no damage to your car
- You will save a lot of time
